Sunset Funeral services for Dalbert Ray Bobby Hebert, age 75, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 19, 2010, with a service in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel. Private interment will be held at a later date.
Brother David Rousse will conduct the service.
Bobby was a resident of Opelousas. He was employed by the St. Landry parish Government at the time of his illness, previous was employed with the Sheriffs Dept. as a deputy . He died on Monday, May 17, 2010, at Opelousas General Health System. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his children: Kent Hebert and wife Pamela of Bristol, Dean Hebert and companion Connie Broussard of Vatican, Carmen Touchet and husband Jerry of Cankton, Debra Trahan and husband Joe of Vatican, and Rebecca Low and husband Leonard of Vatican, one brother Eugene Bergeaux and wife Mary Ann of Broussard, thirteen grandchildren, twenty four great grandchildren, three step grandchildren, and six step great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Forestier Hebert and Lucille Martinez Hebert, his wife Betty Bordelon Hebert, one sister Mary Alice Boyzone, one brother Lee Bergeaux, one grandchild, Joby Hebert, daughterinlaw, Daisy Hebert, and one stepgrand child, Shannon Simon and her son Garett Simon.
Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Grand Coteau on Wednesday, May 19, 2010, from 9 a.m. until time of service.
