Opelousas Funeral services for Cynthia Marie Thibodeaux, 52, will be held at 7:00PM Saturday January 20, 2007, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas.

Deacon Cody Miller will conduct the services.

Cynthia Marie Thibodeaux, a native of Opelousas, died at 12:35PM Thursday, January 18, 2007 at J. Michael Morrow Nursing Home in Arnaudville.

Survivors include: five brothers, Robert Thibodeaux and wife Paula of Morganton, N.C., Clyde Thibodeaux and wife Dee of Sparta, Ill., Keith Thibodeaux and wife Arleen of Leesburg, Al, Floyd Tony Thibodeaux and wife Myra of Sparta, Ill, and Donald Thibodeaux, Sr. of Opelousas; two sisters, Judy Bernard and husband Larry of Opelousas and Debra Scott and husband John of Centre, Al; sister-in-law, Yvette Thibodeaux of Morganton, N.C.; godmother Flo Matte and husband Robert of Lake Charles; a special aunt, Irene Prejean of Arnaudville; a special friend and care giver, Vivian Breaux and husband John of Lafayette; a host of nieces and nephews who all knew Cynthia as Nanny.

Ms. Thibodeaux was preceded in death by her parents Joseph Floyd and Evelyn Marie Zerangue Thibodeaux; a brother, Joseph A Thibodeaux; a special nephew, Andrew Robert Thibodeaux; grandmother, Agnes Zerangue; a special aunt, Shirley Campbell; uncle, Berjie Prejean; and a niece, Chelsea Thibodeaux.

Visiting hours will be observed on Saturday January 20, 2007 from 8:00AM until service time. A rosary will be recited at 6:00PM.
