Cynthia Cinde Lapuyade Robin

Port Barre Funeral services for Mrs. Cynthia Lapuyade Robin, known to many as Cinde, age 61, will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 22, 2011, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel.

Father Daniel Picard will be the celebrant for the service.

Cinde was a native of the New Orleans area and was a longtime resident of Port Barre. She died on Wednesday, January 19, 2011, at Oschner Foundation Hospital in New Orleans.

She was the office manager for the dental office of Dr. Lucius Doucet for many years. She loved to travel and go on vacations. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her husband of 28 years, Eddie James Robin of Port Barre two sons, Dennis J. Daussat, Jr. and wife, Jessica of Port Barre and Jude Robin of Watson one daughter, Ashley Genusa and husband, Paul of Fordoche two sisters, Faye Pastrano of St. Rose and Carol Ann Cornu of St. Rose motherinlaw, Gilda Robin of Port Barre three sistersinlaw, Debra Debbie Young and husband, Mark Young, Sr. of Port Barre Diane Reed of New Orleans and Cheryl Collins and husband, Peter of Carencro and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leon John Lapuyade and Elvera Monaghan Lapuyade and her fatherinlaw, Joseph Clarence Robin.

Pallbearers will be, Jude Robin, Paul Genusa, Mark Young, Sr., Mark Jacob Young, Jr., Peter Collins, and Ray Lanclos. Dennis J. Daussat, Jr. will be an Honorary Pallbearer.

Visiting hours will be observed on Saturday, January 22, 2011, from 9 a.m.12:00 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home of Port Barre
