Opelousas Funeral Services for Cynthia Reviere Courville, age 56, will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel of Opelousas. Rev. Brian Taylor will officiate the services.

Cynthia was a native of Lawtell and was currently a resident of New Iberia. She passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2010, at her residence. She was a retired Psychiatric technician who served 15 years with Tyler Mental Health of Lafayette. She was a beloved mother and a wonderful and caring grandmother. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and love her.

Survivors include one son, Thomas Courville and wife, Judy of Basile two daughters, Amy Courville and fianc, Lyn Decuir of Loreauville and Desire Courville Clark and husband, Tracy Clark of Eunice her mother, JoAnn LeBlanc Reviere of Lawtell her grandmother, Mary Stelly LeBlanc of Westwego one brother, Raphael Reviere of Lafayette two sisters, Diane Tweedel of Lawtell and Virginia Reviere Bussey her former husband, Forest Courville, Jr. and wife, Karen of Greenville, TX 11 grandchildren and 1 greatgrandchild.

Preceded in death by her father, Nolton B. Reviere sister, Debra Lynn Reviere maternal grandfather, D. D. LeBlanc paternal grandparents, Antoine and Lena Reviere and motherinlaw, Clementine Courville.
The family requests that visitation be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas on Tuesday, December 14, 2010, from 5 PM to 10 PM. On Wednesday, visitation will continue in the funeral home from 8:00 AM until 1:45 PM.
A Rosary service will be at 7 PM on Tuesday evening in the funeral home.
