Constance James

P Opelousas Funeral services for Ms. Constance James, 54, will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, August 20, 2007 in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas. Interment will follow in the St. Bridget Cemetery in Lawtell.
The Reverend Perry Hubbs will officiate the service.

Ms. James, a native of Pennsylvania and resident of Opelousas, died at her residence on Friday, August 17, 2007.

Survivors include companion, Manuel Chico Hernandez; two sons, Christopher Morrison of Church Point and Chad Huckabee of Lake Livingston, TX; two daughters, Katherine Sunshine Ellis of Star City, Ark. and Megan Bertrand of Lafayette; two brothers, Ronald Kitchen and Edgar Kitchen both of Jacksonville, Fl.; four sisters, Pam Palmisano, Cynthia Yates, and Christine Harper all of Jacksonville, Fl. and Francis Harvey of Lebanon, Tenn.; a special friend who was like a sister, Rita Fontenot of Church Point; four grandchildren, Logan Seth Morrison, Amber, Kaylee, and Caleb Ellis.

Ms. James was preceded in death by her husband, Whitney Bertrand and her parents, Jessie Calvin Kithchen and Rose Ann Wilkie Kitchen.

Visiting hours will be observed on Sunday, August 19, 2007, from 2:00-8:00 PM in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas and re-open on Monday at 8:00AM until service time.
