Leonville -A Mass of Christian Burial for Connie Sue Stelly, age 53, will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, December 11, 2015, in St. Leo Catholic Church. Fr. Ken Domingue will celebrate the Mass. Interment will follow in the St. Leo the Great Cemetery.

Connie passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2015, at her home in Arnaudville. Connie enjoyed mowing her grass, feeding and caring for her animals, saying her rosary, shopping and being with her family and friends. Connie will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her brothers, Joseph M. Stelly of Leonville, and David W. Stelly and wife, Angela of Bayou Chicot, her sisters, Marie Guillory and her husband, Pete of Leonville, Thelma Stelly and her husband, Glynn of Arnaudville, Vivian Moreau and her husband, Marshall of Opelousas, and Sandra Wyble and her husband, Karlen of Arnaudville, and a host of nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mervin and Thelma Devillier Stelly, a brother Eugene Stelly and a niece Melanie Guillory.
The family requested visiting hours on Thursday, December 10, 2015, from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and reopen on Friday at 8:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas. A Rosary Service will be held on Thursday at 7:00 p.m.
