LEONVILLE-A Mass of Christian Burial for Clyde Joseph Guillory will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 27, 2021, at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church. Fr. Darren Eldridge will officiate the Mass. Rite of Committal will follow in St. Leo Cemetery.
Clyde, age 60, entered into eternal rest Monday, August 23, 2021. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Clyde is survived by his parents Peter and Marie Guillory of Leonville; sons, Matthew (Natalie) Guillory of Pine Prairie and Garrett (Melody) Guillory of Pine Prairie; daughters, Kelly (Tobias) Jenkins of Opelousas and Naomi (Jake) Dupré of Bayou Chicot; 13 grandchilderen and one sister, Bonnie (Dwain) Grimmett of Leonville.
Clyde is preceded in death by his sister Melanie Guillory; Maternal Grandparents, Thelma and Mervin Stelly; Paternal Grandparents, Ruby and Pierre Guillory and several aunts and uncles.
Clyde was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and cooking for his family. Clyde also loved all of his animals. During his career as a Diesel Mechanic, he was awarded multiple certificates through Progressive Tractor.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 26, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.. Deacon Collins will recite the Rosary at 6:00 p.m. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 a.m. Friday, August 27, 2021.
