Clifton Westmoreland

Opelousas -A Memorial Service will be held for Mr. Clifton Franklin Westmoreland at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, September 21, 2015, at Sibille Funeral Home Chapel. Private Interment will follow at a later date. Pastor Benny Reppond will conduct the Memorial Service.
Mr. Clifton was a resident of Opelousas and passed on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at the Opelousas General Health System at the age of 74. Mr. Clifton retired from the U.S. Air Force, having served in the Vietnam War where he received the Presidential Unit Citation, Vietnam Campaign Metal with Cross of Gallantry and Meritious Service Metal. Mr. Clifton was a member of the local VFW Post of Opelousas. Mr. Clifton loved his Country and family and is going to be missed by all that knew and loved him.
Survivors include his eight children and twenty grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Westmoreland; parents, Garland and Lillie Van Fish Westmoreland; brothers, Charles and Clarence Westmoreland.
The visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until time of Service on Monday, September 21, 2015, in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas.
