Grand Coteau Funeral services for Clayton Dargin, Sr., age 58, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 26, 2011, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Charles Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery.
He is survived by his long time companion, Angela Mouton of Sunset, his children Clayton Dargin, Jr., of Lafayette, Miranda Guillory and her husband, Joseph of Church Point, Melissa Dargin of Sunset, Delanna Dargin of Grand Coteau, and Jamie Lyn Wheller of Lewis Burg, brothers Nelson Dargin and his wife, Gean of Grand Coteau, Anderson Dargin and his wife, Theresa of Lafayette, Rodney Dargin and his wife, Faye of Houston TX., and James Dargin and his wife, Bernice of Sunset, sisters Madgeline Duhon of Sunset, Mary Ann Duhon and her husband, Joseph of Lafayette, Renella Simien and her husband, Patrick of Sunset, Jeanette Payne, of Sunset, fifteen grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Curley and Catherine Collins Dargin, brother, Philbert Dargin, sister, Myra Colomb and one grand child, Cindy Dargin.
Visiting hours will be observed from 7 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, November 26, 2011, in the Sibille Funeral Home in Grand Coteau.
