Opelousas- Funeral Services for Claudia F. Morgan, age 93, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 19, 2015, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas. Rev. Brian Johnston will officiate the service. Interment will follow in the Palmetto Methodist Cemetery in Palmetto, La.
Claudia was a resident of Tri-Community Nursing Home and passed away on Monday, February 16, 2015, at St. Landry Extended Care in Opelousas. She enjoyed working with her hands in sewing, gardening and anything else she could find to do. She loved spending time with her family and extended family. She is going to be missed by all that knew and loved her.
Survivors include children, Juanita Simpson and husband Vernon, John Saucier, Aletha Schexnayder and husband Bret, Kathy Leger and husband Gerald, Brenda Saucier; 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents George and Alma Lee Wyble Morgan, 2 great grandchildren, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas on Thursday, February 19, 2015, from 8:30 a.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m.
