Clarence Forbes, Sr.

Grand Coteau Funeral services for Mr. Clarence Cal Forbes, Sr., age 79, will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 10, 2011, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Grand Coteau. Private interment will held at a later date in St. Charles Cemetery.
Deacon James Davis will officiate the services.
He was a resident of Sunset. He died on Friday, December 2, 2011, at his residence.
Survivors include his sons: Charles Ray Forbes and wife, Adriene of Arizona Gilbert Forbes and wife, Shavonne of Lafayette his daughters: Roseanna Lilly and husband, Leo of Carencro Elizabeth Forbes of Sunset Betty Jean Waters and husband, Frank of Katy, TX Joanne Forbes of Carencro and Cynthia Smith and husband, John of Lafayette brother, John Forbes and wife, Beaulah of New Jersey sisters: Gloria Boyains and husband, Martin of Las Vegas, NV and Elnora Auzenne of Houston, TX 25 grandchildren, and numerous greatgrandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary Lastrapes Forbes parents, Berchman Forbes and Clementine Milton Forbes one brother, R aphael Milton two sisters, Betty Lou Brooks and Lotta Williams 3 sons, Michael Forbes, Clarence Forbes, Jr., and Ronnie Kirk Forbes and one grandson, James Anthony Boutte.
Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Grand Coteau on Saturday, December 10, 2011, from 8 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
A Rosary service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday in the funeral home.
