Opelousas- A Memorial service for Christopher Montgomery DVM will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 18, 2016, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jean Sanders will officiate the service.

Christopher was a native of Springfield, Ohio, and a resident of Opelousas. He passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2016, at Lafayette General Hospital at the age of 42.

Survivors include his mother, Susan Robertson, and her partner, Floyd Dupre, step mom, Barbara Milville, sister, Jessica Sandoz and her husband, Stephen, his brothers, Matthew Montgomery and his wife, Jen, and Daniel Montgomery and his wife, Joanna, maternal grandparents, George and Marie Lemen, uncle, John Lemen, Sr., and his wife, Karensue, cousins, Maxwell Lemen and his wife, Noel, Ayla Humphrey and her husband, Bobby, and Will Lemen and his wife, Blaire.

He is preceded in death by his father, Jack Montgomery, and paternal grandparents, Johnny and Ruby Montgomery, one aunt, Sherrie Lemen, and one cousin, John Lemen, Jr.


Visitation will be held on Friday, November 18, 2016, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas.
