Opelousas Funeral services for Mr. Christopher Babineaux, 38, will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, August 18, 2008, in Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Opelousas. Interment will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery, Opelousas.

Rev. Angelo Cremaldi will conduct the Mass of Christian Burial.

Mr. Babineaux was born in Opelousas, lived his life here. He passed away at Doctor's Hospital E.R on Thursday, August 14, 2008. Chris was a graduate of T.H. Harris Technical College in N.D.T testing and was self employed in the construction industry by building patios and fences. Chris will be sadly missed by all that knew and loved him. Survivors include his Mother; Patricia Faul, Opelousas; Daughter, Brittany Dickson, Washington, La; Sisters, Monique Vining and husband Mark of Collegeville, Pa., Roxanne Dominque, Scott, La, Yvette Goff of Wichita Falls, Tx.; a grandchild, Hunter Fontenot.

Christopher was preceded in death by his father, Hubert Pecan Babineaux.

Visiting hours will be observed on Sunday, August 17, 2008, from 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. and on Monday, August 18, 2008 from 8:00 a.m. until service.

A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday night.
