Opelousas – A Funeral Service will be held for Christian David Gregg on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas. Pastor Benny Reppond will officiate the funeral service. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.

​It is with heart-felt sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved son and brother, Christian David Gregg.

​ Christian’s capacity for affection, honesty, and generosity astonished all who came into contact with him. Whether family, friend, or the cashier behind the counter, everyone he encountered could see his soul as pure. He was genuine. If you were Christian’s friend, he was yours for life. The response of friends to the family has been overwhelming. We have felt your prayers as we pray for you. It is impossible to convey how much the outpouring of love and support for Christian means to us. We are forever grateful.

​Christian was a dedicated Atlanta Falcons fan. He loved to be outdoors and to travel the coast. He cultivated his style to match his relaxed, tranquil character. His number one hobby, to serve others, was born from his desire to share his unrelenting love with everyone he met. He poured his heart and soul into the meals he would cook for family and friends; the resulting meals were world-class. His love for his animals and country were only exceeded by his devotion to God.

​Christian is survived by his father Richard Gregg, mother Carola Gregg-Gitto (husband Peter Gitto) his brother Zachary Gregg (wife Courtney Gregg, daughter Callie Gregg, son Ryder Gregg), sisters, Stefanie Nicholson and Nicole Gitto, grandfather Felix Noel, and countless uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends.

​We love you Christian; God has called you home.
