Chester Paul Taylor

Opelousas-Memorial services for Mr. Chester Paul Taylor, age 72, will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2008, in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas.

Mr. Taylor was a resident of Leesville. He died on Wednesday, December 3, 2008, in the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Pineville.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Mrs. Sigrid Taylor of Leesville; one son, Christopher Emile Taylor of Leesville; daughter, Melanie Elaine Taylor of New Llano; stepson, Frank Werner of Ottweiler, Germany; four grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two sons: Randall James Taylor and Ray Lynn Taylor; his parents: Emile and Hilda Taylor; and two sisters: Eula Mae Willingham and Rena Leger.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family to help defray the funeral expenses.

Visiting hours will be observed on Saturday, December 13, from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas.
