Port Barre Funeral services for Mrs. Charline Guillory Mistric, age 57, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 2, 2011 with a Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Father Daniel Picard will be the celebrant for the Mass. Private Interment will be held at a later date.
Charline was born in Opelousas and was a resident of Port Barre. She died on Wednesday, March 30, 2011, at her residence surrounded by her family. She was a nurse at Senior Village Nursing Home for 13 years. She enjoyed being with her family, dancing, and cooking at the barn.
Survivors include her husband of 10 years, Charles R. Mistric two sons, Marcus G. Wyble and fianc, Ashley Johnson and Clint A. Wyble daughter, Natalie A. Wyble, all of Port Barre parents, Teurling Joseph Guillory and Shirley Guidry Guillory of Port Barre stepdaughter, Rachael Mistric of Port Barre stepsons, Chuck Mistric and fianc, Kasey Kay of Port Barre Jacque Mistric and wife, Jenna of Lake Charles Chance Mistric of Port Barre and Carlos Mistric and wife, Mamie of Port Barre sister, Brenda Myers and husband, Michael of Port Barre grandchildren, Lauren R. Wyble, Bailee M. Wyble, and Liliy G. Wyble step grandchildren, Hagan, Cade, Gabby, Joleigh, Trey, and Recca and her nephew and godchild, Lance Myers and wife, Lindsay and greatnephew, Bennett.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Anthony Guillory and Ezor Deranger Guillory and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Guidry, Sr.
Pallbearers will be Marcus G. Wyble, Clint A. Wyble, Chuck Mistric, Jacque Mistric, Chance Mistric, Carlos Mistric, and Lance Myers.
Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Port Barre on Friday, April 1, 2011, from 11 a.m.10 p.m. On Saturday, visitation will continue in the funeral home from 8 a.m until the time of services.
A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Friday evening in the funeral home.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the following people for their special care given to Mrs. Charline during her time of illness: Beryl and Wes Stoute, JoAnn Boss Savoy, Paula Wilson, Matissur Thomas, Liz Morris, Candy Ness, Dr. Stacey Mayeaux, and the staff of HCOA, and the employees of Senior Village Nursing Home.
