Ray passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, September 16, 2017, in Sunset with his daughter and care givers at his side. He continued working the dairy farm and also began rice and crawfish farming. Ray was still crawfish farming at 95.
He and Bobbie were married for 65 years and enjoyed dancing, going on cruises and having lots of fun traveling wherever the next trip may have been. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and fixing things. Ray loved being a volunteer for the Sunset Fire Department and cooking for the American Legion.
