Catherine Cecelia Brinkhaus

Sunset Funeral services for Catherine Cecelia Brinkhaus, age 2, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 11, 2010, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Carencro. Interment will follow in Bellevue Memorial Park.
Father Bill J. Melancon will celebrate the Mass. Music selections will be provided Denise Faugot and Tony Broussard.
She was a resident of Sunset. She died on Sunday, May 9, 2010, at Opelousas General Health System. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her parents: Hans and Monique Johnson Brinkhaus four brothers: Jacob, Matthew, Luke, and Joseph Brinkhaus two sisters: Ruthanne and Natalie Brinkhaus, all of Sunset paternal grandmother, Mrs. Diane Brinkhaus of Sunset maternal grandparents: Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Johnson of Opelousas her godparents, Mr. and Mrs. Randal Caffery of Carencro a host of aunts and uncles: William Brinkhaus, Jr. and wife, Jamie of Lafayette James Jimmy Brinkhaus and wife, Lisa of Opelousas Elizabeth Liz Paget and husband, Dr. Charles Paget of Lafayette Heidi Verret of Lake Charles Deirdre Polanco and husband, Marcello of Carencro Ingrid Hodges and husband, Daryl of Kingwood, TX Aline Duplechin and husband, Joey of Opelousas Christian Brinkhaus of Sunset Haley Larcade and husband, Donnie of Opelousas Greta Roaix and husband, Randy of Lafayette Shane Johnson of Lafayette and Kevin Johnson of Lafayette and numerous cousins.
She was preceded in death by her uncle, Kyle Brinkhaus paternal grandfather, William Brinkhaus, Sr. of Sunset and her greatgrandparents: Mr. and Mrs. John Berchman Roussell, Sr. of Plaquemine Mr. and Mrs. Hampton Phillip Johnson of Bayou Chicot Dr. and Mrs. Armand Brinkhaus of Sunset and Dr. and Mrs. James Prejean of Sunset.
Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Grand Coteau on Tuesday, May 11, 2010, from 9 p.m. until 1:30 p.m.
A Rosary service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday in the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be her brothers: Jacob and Matthew Brinkhaus her uncle, Christian Brinkhaus her godfather, Randal Caffery and two cousins, Paul and Kyle Brinkhaus.
