Carylon Brinkman

Opelousas- A Funeral Service will be held for, Mrs. Carylon Fontenot Brinkman, on Friday, November 23, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas. Deacon Dwayne Joubert will conduct the service. Burial will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park.

Mrs. Brinkman, age 72, passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2018. She loved dogs; and sometimes cats. She also enjoyed browsing the local thrift stores for a good deal. Mrs. Brinkman will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her sons, Eric Brinkman and Robert Brinkman II; daughter, Kim Arceneaux; step-daughter, Denise Brinkman; sister, Nona Tate and Jennifer Kennedy; 5 grandchildren, Ross Brannon, Seth Brinkman, Ian Brinkman, Abigail Brinkman and Will Brinkman.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Judge Robert Brinkman; parents, James and Katherine Fontenot; and her sister, Mary Katherine Patton.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 23, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas. The rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m. by Deacon Dwayne Joubert with funeral services to follow.

Pallbearers will be her sons and grandsons.
