Carroll Valin

Port Barre- A Private Graveside Service will be held for Carroll Anthony Valin at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Port Barre, LA. Father Clint Trahan will conduct the service.

Mr. Valin, age 79, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2020 at a local care facility.

Carroll enjoyed riding his horses with his wagon, hanging out with his llama Clyde, rabbit hunting, French music, and KBON 101.1 radio station.

He is survived by his daughters, Charlotte Deville and husband Dwayne of Port Barre and Carol Aymond and companion Bo Cayce of Port Barre; grandchildren, Reagan Aymond (Caleb), Matthew Aymond (Jade), Brandon Deville (Valerie), and Alison Deville; great-grandchildren, Hayden McRaniels, Hayden Deville, and Whitley Deville; and his godchild, Rusty Higdon.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Della Valin; his wife, Betty Valin; and his siblings, Ina Mae Jensen, Gene Valin, and Margo Lalonde.
