Carolyn Norris

Port Barre Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 26, 2013, at Courtableau Baptist Church in Port Barre, for Carolyn Kay Robin Norris. Rite of Committal and interment will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Port Barre. Rev. Shelby Andre will officiate the service.

Carolyn was a resident of Port Barre. She passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2013, at her home at the age of 55. She was employed at Wal Mart as a Stocker before her illness.

Survivors include her children Brant Young and wife, Jackie of Port Barre, Chris Young of Port Barre, Dawn Fontenot and husband, Joseph of Arnaudville, and one step daughter, Mary Norris of Melville, her mother, Versie Marks Robin of Port Barre, her brothers, Johnny Robin and wife, Bridget of Port Barre, and Junior Hilton Robin Jr. and wife, Sharon of Port Barre, ten grandchildren, Marlanie and Channon Fontenot, Chelsey, Alexus, Gavin, Brant, Jr. Marissa Young, Rylin Broussard, Noah Doucet and Madison Rung, and one great grandchild, Brayden Morain.

She was preceded in death by her father, Hilton Robin, Sr., and her infant brother, Michael Robin.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Courtableau Baptist Church on Monday, February 25, 2013, from 10 a.m. with an all night wake until time of service at 11 a.m on Tuesday.
The family would like to send a special thanks to LA. Hospice and Palliative care also, Melissa, Kim, Pam, Elaine, Brandi, Matissue, and Debra.
