Opelousas – A Celebration of Life will be held for Mrs. Carolyn Andrepont on Friday, November 19, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. at the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas. Pastor Benny Repond will conduct the service. A private inurnment will be held at Bellevue Memorial Park at a later date.

Carolyn, age 65, a resident of Opelousas, passed away on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Carolyn enjoyed caring for children, tending to her plants, and playing games such as solitaire. Most of all she cherished spending time with her family and friends. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her son, Brad Andrepont of Opelousas; daughter, Julie “Vickie” Andrepont and husband, Benjamin Dean of Opelousas; sister, Pearl Sonnier of New Orleans; grandchildren, Celine Guidroz, Beaux Guidroz and fiancé, Lauren Lafleur, Tyler Guidroz, Devin Andrepont, Paige Andrepont, Danielle Richard, Hunter Andrepont, Blake Andrepont and Kassi Andrepont; great-grandchildren, Riley and Reagan Guidry, Taylin, Jace and Brynleigh Guidroz, Karslynn Briley and Bryson Narcisse.

She was preceded in death by the father of her children, Donald Ray Andrepont; son, Scott Andrepont; great-grandson, Bryson Guidry; parents, Willie Castille, Sr. and Mary Pitre Castille; brother-in-law, Carol Sonnier; and a host of brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 19, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Sibille Funeral Home in Opelousas. The rosary will be recited at 5:30 p.m. be Deacon Sammy Diesi.
