Carla Marie Ford Badeaux

Port Barre Funeral services for Mrs. Carla Marie Ford Badeaux, age 44, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 14, 2008, in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Father Nicky Trahan will conduct the Mass.

Mrs. Badeaux was a resident of Port Barre and died at 5:31 p.m. on Monday, August 11, 2008, in the Opelousas General Health System. She was a previous Kindergarten teacher at the Port Barre Headstart. She had a degree in Early Childhood Education. She was a devoted wife, and a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her husband, Billy D. Badeaux of Port Barre; one son, Ryan Badeaux of Port Barre; four daughters: Joni Badeaux of College Station; Tiffany Badeaux, Arielle Badeaux, and Lauren Badeaux, all of Port Barre; three brothers: Charlie Ford of Port Barre; Kirk Ford, Jr. of Houston, TX; and Barney Ford of Pineville; two sisters: Susan Robinson of Houston, TX; and Jeanette Kiffer of Guam; five grandchildren: Carly Perry, Hunter Thibodeaux, Chloe Perry; Rylee Thibodeaux, and Jase Perry.

Mrs. Badeaux was preceded in death by her parents: Kirk George Ford, Sr. and Vinelle Guillory Ford.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home in Port Barre on Wednesday, August 13 2008, from 10:00 a.m. with an all night service until the time of services on Thursday.
