Carl Castille

OPELOUSAS- A Funeral Service for Carl James Castille, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 17, 2017, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas. Reverend Jefferson J. DeBlanc Jr. will conduct the service. Burial will follow in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Church Point.

Mr. Castille, age 53, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2017, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He loved watching wrestling and spending time outside hunting and fishing. He also loved using his hands crafting beautiful woodwork. Carl enjoyed spending quality time with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Tina Dupre Castille; his son, Derrick James Castille; his daughter, Katherine Renee Castille; his brother, Clarence Castille, Jr. and wife, Lynette and his sister, Sheryl Castille Guidry.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Castille, Sr. and Esther Carriere Castille; his father-in-law, Mallory Dupre, Sr.; his mother-in-law, Nole Lee Dupre and his brother-in-law, Jay Guidry.

The family requests visitation be held on Monday, October 16, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. at the Sibille Funeral Home in Opelousas. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday until time of service. A rosary will be prayed prior to the service at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Pallbearers will be Derrick McBride, Kevin Guidry, Jay Guidry, Karl Dupre , Clarence Castille, Jr. and Tony Viator.
