Candace Marie Bell
Opelousas Funeral services for Miss Candace Marie Bell, 19, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 3, 2007, with a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady Queen of Angles Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the St. Charles Cemetery in Grand Coteau.
Father Angelo Cremaldi will officiate the services.
Miss Bell passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2006, in Opelousas. She was a native and life-long resident Opelousas. She was a cashier at Benny's Supermarket and attended LSUE. She was a 2005 graduate of Opelousas High School and enjoyed competing in pageants and playing softball. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter and niece. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include her precious son, Aiden Cole Guillory of Opelousas; her mother, Paula Marie Savoy of Metairie; one brother, Christopher Bell and wife, Amy of Jacksonville, FL; maternal grandparents: Mr. and Mrs. Leo Savoy of Leonville; paternal grandmother, Nelda Duet Bell of Opelousas; and aunts and uncles: Denise Lafleur and husband, Bryan of Opelousas; Chad Savoy of O'Fallon, IL; Don Savoy of Opelousas; James Jimmy Bell of Opelousas; Kitty Bell Sibille and husband, Blane of Plano, TX; Lorne Woodson John Pumpkin Bell of Opelousas; and Robert Cliff Caboose Bell, of Sorrento.
She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Shane Bell; and her paternal grandfather, James Bell.
Visiting hours will be observed on Tuesday, January 2, 2007, from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas. On Wednesday, visitation will continue in the funeral home from 8 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Tuesday evening in the funeral home.
