Brian Cosby

Henderson Visitation for Brian Wayne Cosby will be held on Sunday, November 9, 2014, from 11:00 am until service time at 3:00 pm in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel of Grand Coteau. Pastor Lonnie Cleveland will officiate the services. In lieu of flowers, donations to help with final expenses may be submitted to Sibille Funeral Home or directly to Brians sister Laura Jambon.

Brian, a native of Lafayette and long time resident of Houma, lost his battle against cancer on Tuesday, November 4, 2014, at Lafayette General Medical Center at the age of 44.

He was a plumber for RC Plumbing in Houma for many years. He also did landscaping and enjoyed helping friends with their yards. He enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with family and friends. But spending time with his son, Dawson was what he enjoyed most.

He is survived by his son, Dawson Thomas Cosby and wife, Kathy Broussard Cosby of Lafayette two sisters, Laura Jambon of Henderson and Paulette Cosby Trahan and husband, Corey of Houma one niece, Kara Trahan Courville and four nephews, Brandon Atwood, Cody Trahan , Logan and Carson Jambon.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester Carson Cosby and Cammy Aline Atwood Cosby his paternal grandparents, Jackson Brown Jack Cosby and Elvie Rivers Cosby his maternal grandparents, Cammy Wayne C.W. Atwood and Jewel Atwood and his brotherinlaw, Alan Reed Jambon.

The family would like to also express immense gratitude to Bonnie Bergeron and Stephenie Kelley for being there for the family during this difficult time. Their friendship, love and dedication have been proven to be second to none. We couldnt have made it this far without either of you. Thank you We love you
