Brent A. Deville

Opelousas -A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 8, 2015, at Sibille Funeral Home Chapel for Mr. Brent A. Deville. Interment will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery in Opelousas. Msgr. Fth. Keith DeRouen will be the celebrant of the Mass.

Brent passed away on Friday, September 4, 2015, at Opelousas General Health System at the age of 54. He was a native and longtime resident of Opelousas area. Brent enjoyed hopping on his Trike-Motorcycle and riding with his many motorcycles friends throughout the countryside. Brent also enjoyed fishing, hunting and cooking for his family and friends. Brent loved his wife and family dearly, enjoyed going to work and doing his job and really just enjoyed living life. He is going to be missed by all that knew and loved him.

Brent is survived by his wife, Jolane Gibson Deville of Opelousas; mother, Elsie Deville of Opelousas; son, Jacob. Lee Deville of Opelousas; brother, Steve Deville and wife Betty of Opelousas; sisters, Sandra Vidrine and husband Kenneth of Grand Prairie, Dianne Soileau and husband Dale of Opelousas; brother-in-laws, Barry Gibson and John Gibson.

Brent was preceded in death by his father, Attaway Deville; daughter, Heather Marie Deville and brother-in-law Shane Gibson.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home on Monday, September 7, 2015, from 2:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. On Tuesday, the visitation will continue in the funeral home from 8:00 a.m. until time for Service. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Monday evening.
