Brenda Lalonde

Opelousas- A Memorial Service will be held for Brenda Lalonde at a later date.

Brenda entered into eternal rest with her family by her side on Friday, March 5, 2021 at the age of 64, at Opelousas General Health System. She will be missed by all her family and friends.

Brenda is survived by her husband, Francisco “Chico” DeJean of Opelousas children, Travis Ellis, Sr., of Port Barre, daughter, Michelle Valin of Port Barre, brothers, Marion Lalonde, Jr. of Port Barre, Bobby Lalonde of Fargo, North Dakota, and Rodney Lalonde of Opelousas, sister, Sandra Miller of Port Barre, grandchildren, Bryse Valin, Brock Valin, Zoey Ellis, Brianna Ellis, Dustin Ellis, Travis Ellis, Jr., Sydney Ellis, and Charley Ellis, great grandchildren, Ay’veon Bryton, Brooklyn Valin and Ronin Courville.

Brenda is preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Hazel Thibodeaux Lalonde, son, David Lalonde, sister, Barbara Lalonde.
