Opelousas – A Funeral Service will be held for Bralyn John Lyons on Friday, December 3, 2021, at 12:00 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel of Opelousas; with visitation from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Fr. Dave Hebert will conduct the service. Burial will follow at Bellevue Memorial Park in Opelousas.
Bralyn, age 41, a resident of Mamou, passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021, at his home.
Bralyn was a fun-loving man, he never met a stranger. Despite his obstacles he had in his short life, he did it with a smile. He loved his parents deeply and spoke of missing “Macky and Debbie”. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Bralyn is survived by his nanny and caretakers, Mona Gail and Mitch Ewing of Lawtell, grandmother, Emma Richard Lanclos, of Opelousas, grandmother, Blanche Bernard Lyons of Church Point, sister, Michelle Lyons of Church Point, Uncle Danny Lanclos of Benton, Tenn., Brain and Aunt Jennifer Carrier of Church Point, Aunt Pam and uncle Joseph Keith of Lawtell, uncle Keith and Aunt Stacy Lyons of Church Point, uncle Charles and Elaine Lyons of Church Point, cousins, Mitchell Ewing (Amanda), Mandy (Kyle) Kober, Matthew (Olivia) Ewing, Heather (Matthew) Garcia, Shane Gallier, Danny Lanclos, Jr. and tons more.
Bralyn was preceded in death by his parents, John Malcolm “Mack” Lyons and Debra Lanclos, his grandfather, John Irving Lanclos and Carol J. Lyons, uncle John Darrell Lanclos, uncle Karl Gene Lyons.
Pallbearers will be Keith Lyons, Casey Lyons, Dustin Lyons, Kyle Kober, Matthew Ewing, and Kolton Kober.
