Bradley Sons

LafayetteFuneral services for Bradley Glen Sons, known to many as Brad, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 29, 2013, at the Family Life Church in Lafayette. Interment will be held at Bellevue Memorial Park in Opelousas, LA. Rev. Todd Menard will be officiating the services.

Brad was a native of Berwick and a longtime resident of Duson. He passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2013, at Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette.

He was the Associate Pastor at Family Life Church in Lafayette. He was a devoted Christian man and was very diligent in his life. He enjoyed preaching, studying the Bible, teaching, and mentoring. He was a strong family man who loved life and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. He was great with his hands building homes, boats, and many construction projects. He was an avid outdoorsman spending time doing gardening, farming, planting, fishing, shrimping, hunting, traveling, and feeding the birds.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Guillot Sons of Duson three daughters, Laurie Prejean and husband, Chad of Houston, TX Kimberly Norwood and husband, Justin of Prairieville, LA and Karen Thibodeaux and husband, Starsky of Lafayette, LA one brother, Roger Sons of Berwick and five grandchildren, Colin, Katie, Keller, Molly, and Karson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd Noel Sons and Irene Ludrigue Sons.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Hartley, Andrew Prejean, Christian Prejean, Justin Norwood, Dwayne Cobb, Brandon Miller, and Mitch Bellard.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2013, from 10:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. in the Family Life Church, 2223 Dulles Drive, Lafayette, LA.
