Brad Carlin

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for, Brad James Carlin, at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 10, 2017, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Opelousas. Reverend Gary Schexnayder will celebrate the Mass. Interment will follow at Bellevue Memorial Park.

Brad, age 35, passed away on Thursday, June 7, 2017 at his residence. Brad will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his father, James Kenneth Carlin of Opelousas; mother, Lorraine Bonin and husband, Jason of Arnaudville; sister, Dana Carlin Stanford of Opelousas; brother, Michael Kenneth Carlin of Buffalo, New York and his maternal grandmother, Earline Carriere of Opelousas.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, John Murphy Carriere and paternal grandparents, Luke and Ethel Carlin.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 9, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. at Sibille Funeral Home in Opelousas. A rosary will be prayed by Deacon Tom Lindsey on Friday at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Saturday, June 10, 2017, from 7:30 a.m. until time of services.
