A graveside service will be held for Bonnie Marie Richard on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 3:30 pm n the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery. Deacon Bill Pollangue will conduct the service.
Bonnie, worked as a cashier for L.S.U. University known for her warm and loving personality, she passed away at The Carpenter House in Baton Rouge. Born in Opelousas, she was a loving and caring person who touched the hearts of everyone she met.
Bonnie was passionate about genealogy, bowling, and above all, her cherished family.
Bonnie is proceeded in death by her parents, Bonnie and Audrey Richard, and a beloved brother, James Warren Richard.
She is survived by her son, John Russell Thibodeaux of Massachusetts; daughters Cheryl Defour (Chris) of Gulf Shores, Alabama, and Laurie Thibodeaux Mathis of Prairieville; brother Warren Bernard Richard (Pat) of Denham Springs; grandchildren Caitlin Aucoin, Leanne LeJeune (Dustin), Laney Dufour, Chase Dufour, Chandler Dufour; as well as great-grandchildren Madison Spurgeon, Jacob Hagen, Raelee Havard, and Sawyer LeJeune.
Bonnie's presence in the lives of her family and friends brought immense joy and love. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered for her kind spirit and unwavering love for those around her. May she rest in peace.
