Bobbie Soileau

Opelousas- Bobbie Sue Soileau, 85, passed away peacefully with loved ones at her side December 31, 2019.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 p.m. on Friday, January 3, 2020 at Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas, Louisiana. Father Matthew Higginbotham will celebrate the mass. Rite of committal will follow at the Bellevue Memorial.

She enjoyed planting flowers and vegetables, fishing, sewing, and doing crafts and spending time with her loving husband of 38 years.

Bobbie is survived by her husband of 38 years, Herbert Soileau of Opelousas; son, Kip Brown; stepson, Kermit Soileau; daughters, Rhondi Orgeron, Tami Orgeron and Rori Edgen and husband Randy; stepdaughter, Gwen Soilaeu; brother, Don Chiasson; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

She is preceded by her parents, Irene and Adam Chiasson and daughter Traci Reno.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 3, 2020 from 9 a.m. until rosary at 11:30 am at Sibille Funeral Home.
