Bobbie Glen Hillbilly Hebert
Opelousas Funeral services for Mr. Bobbie Glen Hebert, known to his friends as, Hillbilly, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 10, 2009, in the St. Leo the Great Catholic Church in Leonville. Interment will follow in St. Leo Cemetery.
Fr. Kenneth Domingue will celebrate the Mass.
Mr. Hebert was currently residing in Orange, TX. He died at the age of 56 on Wednesday, January 7, 2009, at his residence. He was a truck driver for many years. He loved being with his family and friends and fishing and boat riding. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Anne Marie Belair Hebert of Orange, TX; two sons: Bobby Gene Hebert of Broussard; and Chad Glenn Hebert of Krotz Springs; three daughters: Tonya Trahan of Orange, TX; Chassie Lefleur of Leonville; and Amanda Friar of Orange, TX; one brother, Allen Ray Hebert of Port Barre; four sisters: Judy Leger of Mamou; Allison Vidrine of Opelousas; Mona Sylvester of Opelousas; and Billie Jo Vidrine of Port Barre; 11 grandchildren and godchild, Paula Leger of Opelousas.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Allen Joseph Hebert and Nita Louise Richard Hebert; brother, Randy Hebert; and nephew, Brant Vidrine.
Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas on Friday, January 9, 2009, beginning at 3:00 p.m. with an all night wake until 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
A Rosary service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday evening in the funeral home.
