Bobbie Byrom

Opelousas Funeral Services for Mrs. Bobbie Jo Smith Byrom, age 80, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 10, 2012, in the First Baptist Church of Opelousas. Interment will follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery in Washington.
Rev. Perry Hubbs will officiate the service.
Bobbie Jo was a longtime resident of Opelousas. She passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2012, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Bobbie Jo was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her including her friends in her Sunday School Class.
Survivors include her children: Mike Byrom and wife, Bunny of Opelousas Mitch Byrom and wife, Cheryl of Opelousas Tommy Byrom of Opelousas Kenny Byrom and wife, Debbie of Carencro Susan Saucier and husband, Danny of Opelousas Jennifer Fontenot and husband, Racheal of Melville and April Byrom of Duson sister, Virginia Moyers of Jackson, Mississippi 14 grandchildren and 15 greatgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Ruby Alexander Smith and her husband, Wayne Byrom.
Visitation will be on Friday from 1:00 pm 10:00 pm in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas. On Saturday, visitation will continue from 8:00 am until 10:30 am in the funeral home.
