Billie Bishop

Billie Jean Brents Bishop age 86, of Opelousas, Louisiana, passed away Monday, October 22, 2012. She was born on April 23, 1925, in Cleveland, Arkansas, a daughter of William Oscar and Alma Mae Medlock Brents. She was preceded in death by her parents husband Leland Bishop sisters, Lila Reid and Iva Wells brother, George Calvin Brents and an infant son, Jerry Don.
Survivors are two daughters, Norma Ray Russell of Kenwood, and Georgia Sam Price of Opelousas, Louisiana a son, James Sue Bishop of Carthage, Texas five grandchildren, seventeen greatgrandchildren.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 24, 2012, at Brents Cemetery in Cleveland, Arkansas, with Bro. Dwight Scott officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:008:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 23, at the Harris Funeral Home, 118 South Moose Street, Morrilton, Arkansas.
