Beverly Thibodeaux Soileau

Opelousas Funeral services for Beverly Thibodeaux Soileau, 76, will be held at 10:00AM Wednesday, March 21, 2007, in the Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Opelousas. Interment will follow in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Church Point.

Mrs. Beverly Thibodeaux Soileau, a native of Church Point and resident of Opelousas, died at 5:00PM Sunday, March 18, 2007 at the Opelousas General Health System.

Mrs. Soileau was a very devoted Catholic. She enjoyed praying the Rosary many times during the day and would not miss her masses. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew and loved her. She will be dearly missed by everyone.

Survivors include: 3 daughters, Brenda Wheaton, Bessie Latiolais and husband Thomas, and Annette Gilley all of Opelousas; 2 brothers, Deacon John Thibodeaux of Church Point and Ivy Thibodeaux of Lawtell; 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Soileau was preceded in death by her husband John L. Soileau, Jr.; parents Maurice and Evelyn Guidry Thibodeaux; 3 brothers, Leo, Alex and Oze Thibodeaux; 3 sisters, Emma Thibodeaux, Iris T. Briley and Bessie Leah Thibodeaux.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas from 10:00AM to 10:00PM on Tuesday, March 20, 2007. A rosary will be recited at 2PM and 7PM by Deacon John Thibodeaux.
