Betty Trudeaux Tujague
Opelousas Private family funeral services were held for Mrs. Betty Trudeaux Tujague, 65, at 11:00AM Monday, December 11, 2006, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel of Opelousas, followed by interment in the Bellevue Memorial Park Mausoleum.
The Reverend Angelo Cremaldi conducted the services.
Betty Trudeaux Tujague, a native of New Orleans and long time resident of Opelousas, died at 9:50PM on December 8, 2006 at the Evangeline Oaks Nursing Home in Carencro.
Mrs. Tujague worked as a sales clerk at Abdallas in Opelousas and later as a bookkeeper for a local doctors office. She was also active as a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority in Opelousas.
Survivors include: two sons, Frank G. Tujague and wife Lisa of Eunice and Dwane Tujague and wife Sharon of Leonville; two daughters, Suzette Oleske and husband Mike of Lafayette and Charlene Boudreaux and husband Robert of Broussard; daughter-in-law, LayneTujague Cormier of Eunice; fourteen grandchildren, Hunter, Seth, Conner, Taylor, Billy, Elizabeth, Katherine, Dolan, and Amanda Tujague, Stephen, Eric, and Cameron Oleske, and Ryan and Dylan Boudreaux; two great grandchildren, Stryker and Sabastian Oleske.
Mrs. Tujague was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Nicholas and Amelia Orlando Trudeaux; husband Leon Tujague, Jr., and a son, Leon Tujague, III.
Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers were Ms. Tujague's grandchildren. Private visiting hours were observed from 9:00AM until service time on Monday December 11, 2006 in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas. A rosary was recited at 10:30AM.
