Opelousas Memorial Services for Betty B. Taylor, age 80, are to held with a visitation from 2 pm to 8 pm and a memorial service at 4 pm on Sunday, November 27, 2011, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel.
Minister Faltery Jolivette will officiate the service.
Betty passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at Opelousas General Heath System.
Betty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother. She was a graduate of McNesse State University with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a minor in Fine Art. Betty enjoyed reading, rug hooking, needlepoint, quilting and music. She was owner and operator of The Carriage Trade Frame Shoppe in Opelousas for many years.
Survivors include her children Erica Ainsworth and her husband, William Bill of Leesville Christopher J. Taylor and his wife, Belinda of Opelousas, E. Scott Taylor and his wife, Andrea of Baton Rouge, and Grayson L. Taylor of Opelousas, seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Bretiece Patterson Brasher, her husband Robert Bob Taylor, and her brother, Raymond D. Brasher.
