Betty Hadley

PORT BARRE-A Funeral Service for Betty Hadley, will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, August 17, 2017, at the Sibille Funeral Home in Port Barre, visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Pastor Keith Davidson will conduct the service. Burial will take place at a later date in Middlebourne, West Virginia.

Betty was born on September 7, 1927 and passed away at her home on Monday, August 14, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Hadley will be missed by her family, friends and all who knew and loved her.

Betty was a homemaker while raising her 4 children. As they grew up she pursued a career in nursing. Her caring nature allowed her to excel in her nursing career throughout the years. She loved to spend time with family and friends. She was blessed with 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting and baking in her spare time.

She is survived her daughter, Susan H. Terlecky; and her two sons, Donald J. Hadley and Denton E. Hadley.

Betty is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Howard C. Hadley and son, David Hadley.
