Betty Beebe

Grand Coteau– A Funeral Service for Betty Beebe will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 13, 2021, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor David Fultz will conduct the Service. Burial will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery in Opelousas.

Betty, age 87 passed away on Friday, July 9, 2021, at her home.

Betty has a long prosperous career as a labor and delivery nurse at Lafayette General Hospital. In her retirement she worked in service for the Lord as a Sunday School Teacher and Vacation Bible School Director. She was such a wonderful Christian Woman. And most of all a fantastic cook who loved to feed people. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Betty is survived by son, Bruce Anthony “Tony” Beebe of Sunset, daughters. Vicki Smith of Sunset and Denise Guilbeau, of Broussard, five, grandchildren, Chastity Beebe, Jake Beebe, Jerek Beebe, Will Guilbeau, Cody Beebe, four great grandchildren, Summer Guilbeau, Aiden Beebe, Asher Beebe and Atlas Beebe.

Betty is preceded in death by parents, Clarence and Mattie Partin, her husband, Bill Beebe, and her son, David Beebe.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 12, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and will reopen on Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at 8:00 a.m. until time of service in the Sibille Funeral Home in Grand Coteau.
