Betty Jane Andrus

Opelousas Funeral services for Betty Jane Andrus, age 71, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 23, 2011, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel of Opelousas. Interment will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park.
Msgr. Keith Doiron will officiate the services.
Betty was a long time resident of Opelousas. She died on Monday, March 21, 2011, at her home in Opelousas.
Survivors include her husband, of 54 years, Floyd J. Andrus of Opelousas, two sons Chris Andrus and wife, Marla of Grand Prairie, and Dwayne Andrus and wife, Lena of Opelousas, two daughters Glenda Andrus of Youngsville, and Lisa Curley and husband, Chris of Lawtell, brothers Earl Bud Guidroz of Opelousas, L.J. Guidroz of Opelousas, Kenneth Guidroz of Baton Rouge, Leonce Butch Guidroz, Jr. of Lafayette, and Ronald Guidroz of Opelousas, sisters Mildred Benoit of Opelousas, and Gloria Totaro, of Carencro, eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Leonce and Bertha Zerangue Guidroz, Sr., her brother, Jimmy Guidroz and her sister, Marie Cortez.
A rosary will be recited on Tuesday evening in the funeral home at 7:00 p.m.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas on Tuesday, March 22, 2011, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. On Wednesday, visitation will continue in the funeral home from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
