Grand Coteau–

A Service of Remembrance for Beloved Zhion Aquarius AKA Charles Ray Forbes will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel of Grand Coteau. Visitation will be held from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. A rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m. by family friend, Tibby.

Beloved, a resident of Sunset, entered into eternal rest at the age of 63, on Monday, November 21, 2022 at Ochsner Medical Center in Baton Rouge.

Beloved, was a music lover and he couldn’t help himself but to sing and dance. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Beloved is survived by his sons, Charles Ray Forbes Jr. and Ralston Forbes; 3 daughters, Lucretia Brooks, Chanel Forbes, and Charleah Forbes; brother, Gilbert J. Forbes & wife Shavonne of Lafayette; 4 sisters, Rose Anna Lilly Forbes & husband Leo of Carencro, Betty Jean Waters & husband Frank of Jennings, Cynthia Smith & husband John of Carencro, and JoAnn Forbes Trahan of Lafayette; 22 grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Beloved is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence & Rose Mary Forbes; 3 brothers, Michael Forbes, Ronnie Forbes, Clarence Forbes Jr.; one sister, Elizabeth Forbes; 3 nephews, Charles Forbes, Stefan Lemelle Sr., Quinton Forbes, one niece; Shaniquel Davis; brother-in-law, Danny Trahan.
