Opelousas- Funeral services for Barbara Ann Vidrine, age 66, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 10, 2009, at Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church, and the interment will follow in St. Bridget Cemetery in Lawtell. Father Angelo Cremaldi will conduct the Mass of Christian Burial.

Mrs. Vidrine was born in Opelousas, LA. and died on November 6, 2009, at her home. Barbara was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and loved being with her family and friends. She is going to be sadly missed by all.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Joseph Blackie Vidrine of Opelousas. sons, Donald Hebert and wife Elizabeth of Opelousas, Ricky Hebert and wife Janice of Opelousas, Simon Hebert III and wife Simone of Lawtell; daughters, Sandra Hebert of Opelousas, Tracy Crowder of Church Point, Charlene Gurule and husband Elfego of Albuquerque, N.M.; sisters, Pearl Sonnier of Bridge City, La., Carolyn Andrepont of Opelousas, Mary Fontenot and husband Brent of Carencro; twenty grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren.

Barbara was preceded in death by her first husband Simon Hebert, Jr.; parents, Willie, Sr. and Mary A.G. Pitre Castille, Sr.; great grand son Drake Richard; brothers, R.L. Castille, Hebert Castille and Willie Castille, Jr.; sister Mildred Faye Stanford.

A Rosary will be recited on Monday at 6:30 p.m.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home on Monday, November 9, 2009, from 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
