Bobbie was born in Cecilia, LA, and was a native of Sunset. She graduated from Sunset High School and got her BS Degree from USL in Education. She married Ray and he did his Navy Tour of duty and lived in Miami and Kansas before settling in Sunset. They were married 65 years. She and our dad provided us with a wonderful fun loving atmosphere for us to grow up in. She never left our side when we were skating, bike riding, showing calves etc. She provided a loving home where all of her childrens friends gathered also. She loved to joke and was queen of fun. She loved dancing especially to the tune of Fats Domino. She and Ray went on many cruises. They won the newlywed game on several cruises and kept everyone in hysterical laughter. She missed this the most in her last year.
She assisted Brenda with Operation We Care sending packages to the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. She never stopped asking about them and how many letters and packages we send every month. She knew what it was to keep their morale up.
She will be missed by many who knew and loved her.
