Barbara Durand

Washington A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Barbara Rene Durand, age 73, at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 23, 2013, in the Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Washington, LA.
Rev. Jared Suire will celebrate the Mass.

Survivors include her son, Edwin Durand of Washington, LA., daughter, Charlene Durand Rubin and her husband, Edward of Washington, brothers, Anthony Rene and wife, Shirley of Port Barre, Willard Rene and wife, Patrcia of Crosby, TX., and Ronald Rene and wife, Cynthia of Grand Prairie, sisters, Beverly Cambell and husband, Benny of Houston, TX., Geraldine Rene of Houston, TX., Mary Eldean Tatman of Washington, Theresa Rene of Lafayette, Anna Rene of Garland, LA., and Lois Mae Rene of Garland, LA., three grandchildren, Aleceia, Avia and Ashley Durand, one great grandson, Dezmund Drawsand.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Antoine and Rose Mae Sonnier Rene her husband, Voris Durand, son, Marion Durand, brother, Hillard Rene.
Visiting hours will be observed in the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 414 E. St. Mitchell Street, Washington, LA, on Saturday, November 23, 2013, from 8 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.
