Audie Dean BarronbrbrPort Barre- Funeral Services for Audie Dean Barron, known to many as Dean, age 51, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 2, 2010, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Port Barre. Rev. Ted Hall will officiate the services.br Dean was a longtime residence of Port Barre. He died on Wednesday, December 30, 2009, at his residence. br Dean began farming during his young adulthood. He continued to farm for over 17 years. He was previously a manager of an ATV Store-Cypress Point. He was previously the director of operations in which he would oversee several states for ADT, an alarm company.br He enjoyed being outdoors spending time at the camp and tending to his cattle. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a Christian man who attended Opelousas Bible Church. He would also enjoy spending time with family and friends. He was a loving father, son, brother, uncle, and friend who will be deeply missed.br Survivors include two sons: Scotty Barron and fianc, Arianne Wadeson of Centerville, Georgia; and Cory Barron of Port Barre; his father, Edward Joseph Barron and step mother, Veronica of Port Barre; one brother, John Ed Barron and companion, Debra Robin of Port Barre; one sister, Veronica Barron Guillory and husband, Nelson of Port Barre; his former wife of 29 years, Kayla Taylor Barron of Arnaudville; and a host of nieces and nephews.br He was preceded in death by his mother, Loretta Lejeune Barron.br Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Port Barre on Saturday, January 2, 2010, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. br Words of comfort to the family may be expressed at www.sibillefuneralhomes.com.br Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sibille Funeral Home of Port Barre.br brbr
