Opelousas Funeral services for Anthony Michael Lanclos, Sr., 36, will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at 2:00pm in the Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Opelousas. Interment will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park.

Reverend Sonny Brown will conduct the services.

Anthony Michael Lanclos, Sr., a lifelong resident of Opelousas, died at 11:30am on Saturday, April 28, 2007 at Opelousas General Health System.

Michael will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends who will remember him as a man who would help anyone in need.

Survivors include: his wife, Rayiona Marie Leger Lanclos of Opelousas; a son, Anthony Michael Lanclos, Jr. of Opelousas; a daughter, Angie Marie Lanclos of Opelousas; twin brother, Anthony Joseph Lanclos, Sr. of Opelousas; three sisters, Theresa L. Williams of LaPlace, Janelle Ann Lanclos of Destrehan and Antoinette Toni L. Higginbotham of Port Barre;

his maternal grandmother, Lena Giovingo Winingham Saccaro of Metairie; parents Adolph Joseph Lanclos, Jr. and Mary Ann Lanclos of Sunset and his father and mother-in-law, James Carey Leger, Sr. and Eva Lea Leger of Port Barre.

Mr. Lanclos was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, George R. Winingham; paternal grandparents, Adolph Joseph Lanclos, Sr. and Constance Bergeron Lanclos.

Pallbearers will be Anthony Michael Lanclos, Jr., Anthony Joseph Lanclos, Sr. and Jr., Joshua Paul Lanclos, Brian James Higginbotham, Sr. and Jr.,
