She was born on August 10, 1940, in the heart of Opelousas, Louisiana, where her journey began, a journey marked by love, dedication, and an unwavering passion for education.
With a steadfast dedication to education, Annette devoted 20 years of her life as a teacher with the St. Landry Parish School System. She believed in the power of education and imparted not only knowledge but also valuable life lessons that shaped futures.
Beyond her profession, Annette was a woman of many talents and interests. She found joy in painting, her creativity blossoming on canvas with each stroke of her brush. Her hands were never idle; she relished in sewing and crocheting, often crafting beautiful pieces that were gifted to friends and family, each stitch woven with love. A true card enthusiast, Annette enjoyed countless evenings filled with laughter, competition, and camaraderie around a table with friends.
