Bristol A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 16, 2012, at St. John Berchman Catholic Church in Cankton, LA. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. John Berchman Cemetery Mausoleum. The Reverend Fr. Henry Broussard will be the celebrant of the Funeral Mass.
Mrs. Anna Belle passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2012, at her home in Bristol at the age of 82. She was born in Bristol, LA. She was a graduate of Sunset High School. She attended a Business College in Lafayette and became an Insurance Clerk for many years. She moved to Eunice and worked for Moosa Memorial Hospital for 15 years. Then she worked for TriParish Bank for many years. Her last career choice was working for Rozas Pharmacy until her retirement. She lived in Bristol for the last 29 years.
In her giving spirit, she cooked many meals for her family and made wonderful desserts, especially bread pudding. She shared her passion of cooking with all of her children. They will always cherish her secrets to wonderful meals which they will pass down to future generations. She was well known for her cooking for the many athletic events, Booster Club Socials, and the Coaching Staff at both Beau Chene High School and Eunice High School. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time outdoors in her garden working with her flowers. She was a devoted Catholic and a member of St. John Berchman Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Leon Beaugh of Bristol three sons, Ken Beaugh and wife, Mary of Scott Terry Beaugh and wife, Connie of Eunice and Tony Beaugh and wife, Theresa of Lafayette two daughters, Becky Lege and husband, Calvin of Lafayette and Gina Coscarart of Bristol one sister, Linda Ortego and husband, James Bernard Ortego of Magnolia, Mississippi 12 grandchildren: Stacy Beaugh, Holly Beaugh, Ashley Attales and husband, Lauren Anthony Beaugh and wife, Katie Arien Harper and husband, David Adam Beaugh, Amy Beaugh, Annie Beaugh, Lori Fulton and fianc, Michael Stratigos Jonathan Coscarart and wife, Baily Lander Coscarart and wife, Aimee and Ansley Niland and husband, Ben twelve greatgrandchildren: Adalie Beaugh, Alise Beaugh, Ivy Beaugh, Anna Attales, Laura Attales, Jack Attales, George Harper, John Harper, Madison Fulton, Dominic Fulton, Marlie Coscarart, and Anna Niland. special niece, Angie Aucoin and her husband, Troy along with her two children, Ella and Emma all of Greenwell Springs and special nephew, Phil Ortego and his son, Brice of Baton Rouge.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raoul Sibille and Anna Guidry Sibille and two sisters, Janelle Sibille and Nell Rose Sibille.
Pallbearers will be her sons, Ken, Terry, and Tony Beaugh her grandsons: Jonathan and Lander Coscarart and Anthony Beaugh.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 15, 2012, from 3 pm to 9 pm in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas. On Monday, visitation will continue from 8 am until 10:30 am in the funeral home. A Rosary service will be held at 6:30 pm on Sunday evening in the funeral home.
